How it works
Referring an educator is easy.
1. Share the opportunity
Tell your friends or whānau about becoming a Barnardos Home Based Educator.
2. They join the team
When they register and hold a current practising certificate, they enrol as a Home Based Educator.
3. Receive your thank you
After 8 weeks of the first child starting care (minimum 15 hours), you will receive a $150 gift card.

Terms and conditions
• Referred educator must be registered and hold a current practising certificate
• Gift card is paid after 8 weeks of the first child starting care (minimum 15 hours)
• Referral must be on the official form signed by an Operations Manager
• Not eligible for Barnardos Aotearoa staff
